I think your pictures are great - in spite of the camera! What camera is it BTW? Can you buy digital cameras in the army PX?

it's an 'argus'..dc2200...it cost like 60 bucks in the p.x....i'm not really complaining about it...i'm glad to have it...i just wish the picture quality could get across exactly what i'm seeing...i think it's about a -2mega pixels

from the looks of your inside shots the camera was not getting enough light. did you use a flash? perhaps try using flash even when you think the light is bright enough. and hold really steady when you take the pic. good luck!
